Capital Improvement Program

Silicon Valley Clean Water uses its Capital Improvement Program to replace and rehabilitate existing infrastructure in its pump stations, treatment plant, and force main. Similar to the painting of the Golden Gate Bridge, SVCW’s conveyance and treatment facilities take continuous maintenance and upkeep. The Capital Improvement Program is used to ensure that projects needed to upkeep critical infrastructure are identified, and that funding is set aside for the projects. This will ensure system reliability and public health far into the future.
