Our mission is to protect public health and the environment by providing wastewater conveyance and treatment for reuse or disposal in a responsible, safe, efficient, and reliable manner.

We serve more than 220,000 people and businesses in the cities of Belmont, Redwood City, San Carlos, and the West Bay Sanitary District.

In accomplishing our mission, we explore and implement new technologies to maximize our efficiency, reduce the cost to treat water, and increase our region’s sustainability. Our outreach efforts take us to local schools where we partner on education programs, to local businesses and industry with pollution prevention information and resources, assisting to mitigate negative environmental impacts.
